Navigating Return to Work Issues
With counties moving to Phase 2, many closed businesses can now reopen and workplaces with remote workers can consider whether and how to bring the team back to the office. Our employment lawyers will discuss how to navigate return to work issues and provide best practices for navigating compliance with the Governor’s orders and the many new laws and regulations challenging Oregon employers. We’ll save some time to answer questions in a panel format.
Topics will include:
Best practices regarding workplace safety and social distancing. Masks, testing, temperature checks, self-quarantine, travel etc.
Mandating return to work for office workers
Managing employees who don’t want to or are unable to return
Protected & unprotected leave – Navigating overlaps & compliance with the FFCRA (Emergency Paid Sick Leave & E-FMLA) with other leave laws
ADA issues related to mask wearing, fear of COVID, & high risk underlying conditions
Join us on Thursday, June 25th at 10am as we discuss these topics and address some questions around Phase 2 Re-openings and related COVID-19 legislation. If you have questions about attending this webinar, email Courtney at firstname.lastname@example.org.
