The first Con-Tech home is ready for sale.
This first residence constructed by local students has just been completed and is now being offered for sale to the general public. The house is a 1589 square foot floor plan located at 529 24th St NE, Salem, Oregon, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It will be offered for sale at $224,900. The net proceeds of the sale will be retained by Con-Tech and reinvested in another lot and construction supplies and materials to allow the students to build next year’s residence.
Con-Tech, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization which provides opportunities for local high school students to have real life experiences constructing a home. Con-Tech and Salem Keizer School District have a unique private/public partnership which allows teachers to work with their students to build a residence.
Saalfeld Griggs PC, along with many other companies and individuals interested in developing skilled workers for the construction industry, have sponsored this organization. We are so proud of the work the students put into this fantastic residence and are eagerly awaiting its sale.
