Office Coordinator

Saalfeld Griggs is hiring for a full-time Office Coordinator in our Administrative Services Group. On our team, you will be given immediate responsibility to perform various functions within the firm to ensure attorneys and legal assistants are able to focus on clients and matters. Saalfeld Griggs is a thriving law firm resulting in a fast-paced environment. As our Office Coordinator, you may find yourself moving from one task to another without much time in between or juggling multiple duties at the same time. An individual with excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail will do well in this role. We offer excellent benefits and a great working environment. Starting hourly wage is commensurate with experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain inventory of supplies throughout the firm
  • Clean and straighten breakrooms and conference rooms
  • Assist with planning and implementation of firm gatherings and celebrations
  • Contact vendors for equipment maintenance
  • Organize and track our Law Library
  • Schedule maintenance for the firm car
  • Cover breaks for the receptionist
  • Frequently move and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills and experience:

  • One year working in an administrative support role required
  • One year of customer service experience required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • The ability to identify and resolve problems promptly and effectively
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Communicates change and progress
  • Works effectively with people and treats others with respect
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

We take mentorship to the next level.

Associates work closely with the partners in their practice group and with other attorneys and staff in the firm. We assign each lawyer to a partner-mentor to help them grow into the practice and broaden their perspective on the practice of law and marketing of legal services. Women lawyers at Saalfeld Griggs have benefited from our signature, women-centered client marketing events and mentorship within the firm and with our local bar.
