Caleb A. Williams

Caleb A. Williams provides counseling to businesses of all sizes and types, as well as business owners and investors. He assists business clients from their initial organization to sale or disposition, and the variety of other matters that a business faces in its life cycle. Caleb has experience in the selection, formation, and maintenance of for-profit and non-profit organizations, and acts as general counsel to many privately-held corporations, limited liability companies, agricultural cooperatives and non-profit organizations. He has experience in drafting, evaluating and negotiating all types of commercial contracts and complex transactions, including the structuring, evaluating, negotiating and documenting of business and real estate sales, acquisitions, mergers and joint ventures. Caleb has represented clients in a host of industries, including agricultural producers and processors, retail, manufacturing, winery, brewery, and cidery. Caleb also has significant experience in advising clients in the selection, registration and licensing of intellectual property, primarily trademarks and copyrighted works.

As a member of the firm’s Agri-Business and Wine, Beer, Cider Industry Teams, Caleb has particular experience assisting clients in these industries and is active in industry associations and continuing education.

Off the Job

Caleb spends his free time with his wife and five children. He enjoys traveling, hiking, working with his tractor and the Portland Timbers. Caleb is also known to occasionally brew a batch of beer. His special recipe is Caramel Porter.
