Saalfeld Griggs is a respected business law firm with clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Founded in Salem in 1932, the firm is large enough to manage complex litigation and business transactions, yet small enough to develop close working relationships with its clients. Lawyers in each team have developed a thorough understanding of the legal issues that arise in their practice area.
Our practice areas include: Business Law & Taxation, Estate Planning & Administration, Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation, Employment Law, Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy, Litigation and Real Estate & Land Use. Our law clerk program aims to provide law students with real world legal experience in all the firm’s practice areas, including analysis of complex legal matters, research, and drafting.
We are accepting applications for a Law Clerk to work full time during the summer of 2022 with an hourly rate of $22.00 an hour depending on experience. 1L and 2L candidates in good standing are encouraged to apply. The clerkship program will begin in May of 2022 and conclude after a ten-week period, at which time more opportunities may be possible.
Cover letter, resume, writing sample, list of individuals willing to provide a reference, and transcript may be sent to Miranda Hugie and Laura Pike at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than January 27, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. PST. If transcripts are not available, candidates should state when transcripts will be provided and provide such transcription immediately upon publication.
