2015 SHRMA Legislative Report – Final
The 2015 Oregon Legislative Session closed on Monday, July 6, 2015. Employment-related bills were a significant focus of this year’s session. This SHRMA Legislative report covers the outcome of many employment-related bills considered by the Oregon Legislature, including laws that passed related to statewide mandatory sick leave; social media protections; wage discussion protections; updates to the Oregon Family Leave Act; criminal background inquiries; and new limits on non-competition agreements.
