Ten partners of the law firm of Saalfeld Griggs took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge today in order to help raise local awareness for this disease. They did so in support of clients and friends who have been diagnosed with ALS, or passed away from ALS, and to support research for ALS.
The Development Director from the ALS Association Oregon and SW Washington Chapter, Aubrey McCauley, was on-hand to provide data regarding this challenge and the incredible impact it has had on fundraising — more than $57 million nationally. She provided information on the disease and insight as to the help and hope that the ALS Association can offer to people living with ALS and their families.
